KH CALENDAR

LESSONS/ CLASS SCHEDULE

all classes are held at my private studio located in Southington, CT. 
Please call for address upon registration.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

BEGINNER ADULT (ages 13-99) -Don't be shy! Just come and have fun! Learn all the basic hula steps with easy to follow instructions. You'll be dancing before you know it, while burning calories and toning your hips, thighs and abdominals!  Wednesdays: 4:30 - 5:30 pm. 

INTERMEDIATE ADULT (ages 13-99)

Hula & Tahitian Basics – repetitive foundation step drills for approx. 30 minutes followed by a breakdown of a dance routine. Dance for fun & fitness or train to move up to Performance Troupe level.  Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm.  


ADULT-CHILD WAHINE - KEIKI HULA

Mothers, Grandma's or Aunties!!! Bring your favorite little hula girl to class and dance along for the exercise! Hula & Tahitian basics followed by breakdown of a dance routine. $75 per month for both dancers! or $50 per month for child only.  Wednesdays 4:30 -5:30pm (combined with beginner class)



CLASS POLICIES

  • Fees are due at the first class of each month.
  • $50 class dues per month per student.
  • September dues include $25 registration fee.
  • Make up classes are student’s responsibility to attend another scheduled class.
  • We apologize that credits or refunds for missed classes are not possible.
  • Unless noted otherwise, classes are held at Tiare’s in-home dance studio in Southington, Connecticut (address provided upon registration).
  • Preferred attire for Beginner & Intermediate Students: black top and black shorts or leggings with red halau sarong (long or short…available for purchase in studio); Troupe: black top with practice pa’u (schedule your time to make with Tiare)
  • Please be prompt and ready to begin at designated time
  • Be prepared to dance…”talk story after”, okay?
  • Snacks & refreshments “to share” after class always welcome!
